Ellen Moorhouse
I am proud to be the third generation in Real Estate in my family. After getting my start as a real estate appraiser, I then obtained my sales license and was proud to become a Realtor with NRG Real Estate. Currently, in addition to being in Real Estate, I also work for the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts, where I am responsible for implementing and coordinating all aspects of WFWM’s $500,000 in grant commitments currently in the field. I am the Program Director for the Leadership Institute for Political and Public Impact (LIPPI), and other initiatives that promote the strengths of women and girls. In addition, I oversee the public relations/community relations activities of the Fund. Previously, I was a Senior Program Manager for the City of Springfield Office of Housing.
I am a life-long Girl Scout and currently serve on the Girl Scout Gold Award Committee, where I am a mentor for young women seeking their Gold Award, the highest award that a young woman can earn in Scouting. I am also a current member of the Springfield Rotary Club, and serve on the Board of Directors of the YPS (Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield).
